Earthly Treasures – Gemstone Jewelry

In creating my “Earthly Treasures” line, I have chosen various genuine gemstones for each piece, combined for their specific properties.  When these stones are worn together, the body's reaction with the stones' earthen energies will serve as a practical aid in enhancing ones' life and increasing opportunities.

I have designed each piece not only to be beneficial, but enchanting as well.  Seed beads, or sterling silver beads, lay between the various colors and shapes of the gemstones.  This gives the piece some richness and depth, and helps to enhance the stones colors.

In stringing this elegant, yet durable, jewelry, I have used 49 strand soft flex tiger tail, which is a braided, nylon coated wire, with a 26 pound break strength.  Even though it is flexible, try not to kink your jewelry.

The various items in my “Earthly Treasures” line are as follows:

The bracelet, with the continuous four stone design, features a filigree fishhook clasp in either silver plating, or for a slightly higher price, sterling silver or gold filled.

The anklet, also with the continuous four stone design, features a lobster claw, plated or precious, clasp with some extra rings on the other end for adjustability.

The sterling silver earrings feature only two gemstones of your choice, and hang from an ear wire, with a length of half an inch.

The 1.5” long pendant, with a simple sterling silver wire wrap design, encompass the four stones, which correspond to the specified category. These pendants may be worn around the neck using the black cord provided, or can easily be slipped onto your own silver chain.

All the Earthly Treasures gemstone jewelry have an attached enlightenment card explaining the overall benefit of each stone in the piece.  The card is also color coded for easy identification of each stone.  The purifying instructions of using sea salt and the sun, are listed on the back.  Although this makes the stone's energies most effective for the wearer by lessening any negativity, this is not necessary.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT:
Desiring to be a part of something bigger, with backpack in tow, I began selling my creations in Grateful Dead parking lots early in my career.  As my passion for gemstones grew, and as my customer’s acceptance built up my confidence, my seemingly innocent hobby grew into a full time business.  I find that working with the different colors and textures that comprise gemstones is very therapeutic.  Being able to create something of beauty and purpose is quite fulfilling for both my customer and myself.  I find it essential to help people, and in some small way, I believe I am.

I started my business in 1995, and it has evolved to an ever-expanding adventure.  It is constantly changing to suit my desires of creating intriguing trinkets, and to bring to you various unique pieces of jewelry.  I believe I make a durable product at a fair price.  All my work is guaranteed, that is, if breaks under normal wear, I will replace or restring the item at no cost to you.  When you receive your new treasure, and it's not everything you thought it would be, I can replace it with another item.

I create each piece of jewelry with my own hands.  I use what I believe are the best products to turn my jewelry into a functional and fashionable item that you would admire on yourself, or would give as a cherished gift.  I use a 26 pound break strength softflex nylon coated wire (whew!) on most of my strung jewelry.  It doesn't kink, or, usually, break.
